The 30th anniversary of Pokemon is on Wednesday, Sept 16th! We remember being in the second grade and hearing about Pokemon for the first time. Teachers banned it. We had underground trading clubs. We did trades like the KBG had intel drops. It was all very hush-hush.

✨To celebrate, BC Hobbies is having a 🎉DISCOUNT SALE EVENT🎉 on 30th Anniversary ETBs! Unheard of, we know. Check the pictures for details, but it involves lining up first thing in the morning. We're limiting 1 ETB per household because everyone in line deserves the discount, not just Nurse Joy and her 25 sisters.

From now on, at Build Night on Thursdays, our very own Spenser will be hosting a Miniature Painting Night at the same time! Anyone who wants to try painting a miniature can come have fun doing so. We have miniatures and paints for communal use. You can take home your miniature when you're done. This is in the spirit of Build Night - where fun and community are the focus, as well as gaining a basic understanding of your chosen hobbies... but with FRIENDS!

We're gonna be at the Ultimate Toy Fair on Sept. 19th & 20th! I know it, and now you know it too. Come say hi, we'll be selling some fantastic hobby supplies, model kits and figures!

In preparation for the anime/cosplay convention in Hillside Mall called Hillside Matsuri later this month, Liam will be giving a FREE visual demonstration in the basics of airbrushing any model, prop or fabric followed by a Q&A session.

The demonstration is on Sunday, September 13th 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM . Register for free at the Hillside Concierge. Must be age 14+ for airbrushing.
