XAXE TEṈEW is seeking permanent access to land for Island Salish stewards. Through the REMATRIATE STEWARDSHIP project, XAXE TEṈEW connects Indigenous stewards with their Indigenous land & waters, advocates for the wellbeing of the Salish Sea & Island Salish people and ecosystems, invasive plant removal, Native plant education, Stewardship of forest, meadow and wetland ecosystems and provide land-based, culturally rooted programs to heal addiction and trauma.

BRIDGE Impact is an Indigenous-led technology company that moves reconciliation from intent to action. The BRIDGE platform:connects Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities by: providing people interested in reconciliation with opportunities to fund youth-led Indigenous cultural, athletic and artistic endeavours, and tools for organizations to move their reconciliation commitments forward, including an online reconciliation advisor - currently in development with select partners.

Tickets:
The event is free for Indigenous folks and ticketed for non-Indigenous folks (so we can fundraise to get more youth on the land practicing/ learning cultural practices.)

In case you forgot, Indigenous Roots Coffee Co. will be serving and selling coffee all day at the 37th annual Paint-In on moss street July 18th. This is the largest art festival Victoria has to offer and will be a day full of crafting, community, and delicious cups of coffee.
