IAF
IAF works to create a thriving BC agriculture via the effective delivery of programs
The Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC was established in 1996 as an industry-led, not-for-profit organization. We represent a significant component of the agriculture and agri-food community, from farm supply to primary production to post-farm gate and food processing. Our focus is to work with clients, industry and funding partners and invest in projects that have the potential to transform ideas into solutions.

BC has specific employment standards rules for farm workers.
Farm workers are exempt from some of the usual rules for hours of work, overtime and statutory holidays. Other employment standards still apply.
The rules can depend on the worker and the work being done, so it is important to know what applies to your operation.
Have questions about employment standards for your workers? Give our HR Advisor a call.

Reliable water infrastructure is critical to the future of agriculture in British Columbia.
This video highlights how Jealous Fruits is investing in agricultural water security and resilient infrastructure to support long-term food production in the Okanagan.
Water access plays an essential role in supporting orchard health, agricultural productivity, and climate resilience for future generations of farming. After another devastating wildfire season in BC, our thoughts are with everyone impacted, including first responders.
