"Comedian Shawn Hitchins has had quite the decade. Finding success early in his career and even sparking a movement (Ginger Pride Walk) in Edinburgh, it would be understandable to feel like the universe (or whoever is in charge of it) is smiling down on him. Unfortunately for Hitchins, life is a big fan of the ol’ sucker punch, and he soon found himself facing compounding personal losses and a cancer diagnosis, not to mention the strains the global pandemic placed on those whose livelihood depends on large crowds in packed venues."

Katie-Ellen Humphries, the creator of the Fringe hit “No Worries If Not” (Critic’s Choice), founding member of the sketch group “The Lady Show” (Pick of the Fringe) and named “Best Comedian” by The Georgia Straight brings a BRAND NEW SOLO SHOW to Victoria October 2 & 3 at the Intrepid Studio.

We are very excited for this very special project with this very special collaborator. The show marks a return for Humphries, not just to their beloved hometown, but also to the creative, multifaceted performance style they first learned as a member of Victoria’s award-winning (often madcap) theatre cabaret Atomic Vaudeville.
