Esquimalt Ribfest offers a rib cook-off between six champion BBQ teams; FREE music and entertainment throughout the entire event; activities for children and youth, as well as local craft brews, cider and wine.

Driving to Ribfest this weekend? Park in the DND parking lot on Lyall St and you’ll automatically be in the running to win a FREE HALF RACK OF RIBS.
We’ll randomly select a licence plate twice daily:
1:00 PM
5:00 PM
Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Using the DND parking lot also helps us take care of our Esquimalt neighbours by keeping festival traffic out of the surrounding residential streets and helping you avoid a parking ticket.
Please remember: Country Grocer parking is for Country Grocer customers who are actively shopping only and is not available for Ribfest parking.
Park at DND. Be a good neighbour. Maybe win ribs.

Apparently scammers have found us and an email is going out on mass inviting vendors to be part of Esquimalt Ribfest 2026. This is NOT coming from our Vendor Coordinators. Do not respond to this email, do not send them any money. They appear to have copy and pasted information from our website to look legit. One such email is signed by someone named Gillian. We do not have anyone by that name as a vendor coordinator. Should you receive such an email please let us know at
