From rethinking how we light public spaces to exploring how thoughtful design can bring people together, has been full of great conversations, new ideas and plenty of inspiration.

Proud to be here with the FLT team, talking solar lighting and listening to the landscape architects and designers shaping the spaces of tomorrow.

And apparently, some ideas really do come with a lightbulb moment. 😉

It’s tradeshow season! Over the next few months, the First Light Technologies team is hitting the road to meet the people planning and building the spaces we light.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been connecting with MBA students from Royal Roads University - a fantastic group of curious minds keen to learn about FLT’s solar lighting technology and now collaborating with us on a project of their own.

Last Friday, they visited our Victoria facility for a closer look at how our lights come together, and we’ve all made some genuine connections in the process!

We’re grateful for their partnership and the energy this group has brought.

A single leaf shouldn't be able to take down a solar light. With FLT, it doesn't.

FLT solar lights replaced a fully wired approach. SDSU, Mission Valley Development's Program Manager Paul Jackson says it lets the team balance patron safety with protecting the habitat and wildlife in the adjacent river. "That's been a huge plus."
