Attention Drone Pilots! The Abbotsford International Airshow is this weekend✈️

Major aviation events like airshows can involve temporary airspace restrictions, active NOTAMs, controlled airspace, nearby aerodromes and heliports, and overlapping aviation chart layers.

For the Abbotsford International Airshow, restricted airspace is active near Abbotsford Airport under a Section 5.1 Aeronautics Act NOTAM. Unauthorized aircraft operations, including RPAS, are not permitted in the restricted area without authorization from the controlling agency.

So this weekend, we suggest leaving the drone at home unless you have specific authorization.
