Reminder that MT Space is currently accepting applications to the Majdi Bou-Matar Bursary!
This bursary was created to honour the visionary founder of MT Space. Majdi Bou-Matar dedicated his life to amplifying the voices of racialized and marginalized communities through theatre and art. This bursary aims to support those who embody and further his mission. The Majdi Bou-Matar Bursary offers $5,000 plus a year-long mentorship with MT Space, designed to fit the recipient.
Eligible applicants must be:
- Racialized (newcomer, immigrant, refugee) and/or Indigenous;
- A creator, performer, arts leader or administrator;
- Emerging in their craft or their career in the Canadian performing arts sector;
- Willing to commute for in-person mentorship at MT Space (16 William Street, Waterloo, ON)
