As temperatures drop, now's the perfect time to walk around your home and catch small issues before they become big (expensive) ones. Here's what to look for:

1. Eavestroughs – Clear out leaves and debris now so melting snow and ice have somewhere to go this winter. Clogged gutters are one of the top causes of ice dams and water damage.

2. Siding – Look for cracks, warping, or loose panels. Small gaps let moisture in, which can lead to costly repairs down the road.

3. Soffit & Fascia – These often-overlooked areas protect your roofline from moisture and pests. Check for rot, discoloration, or gaps where critters could sneak in for winter.

4. Windows & Doors – Run your hand around the frames to feel for drafts. Sealing gaps now can save you real money on heating bills all winter long.

5. Railings & Columns – Give them a wiggle test. Loose railings are a safety hazard, especially when ice and snow show up.
