Tulip season is nearly approaching us!🌷✨

Be ahead of the game and come browse your colours of choice before they sell out in the fall whenever everyone’s ready to start planting!🪏

For only $15 a bag you can get 24 tulip bulbs or 15 daffodil bulbs. From daffodils, to pink, red, yellow, yellow with pink tips, or mixed tulips, there’s so many options, so hurry up and make sure you can get your colour of your choice!

The Button Factory Arts Centre will be closed this Saturday, August 1st to Monday, August 3rd for the civic long weekend!🙌

We will have regularly scheduled programming resuming back on Tuesday, August 4th with regular hours opening at 10 AM.

What does a sunny day + feeling artsy equal? Cyanotype time!☀️

Yesterday, Kate Short’s cyanotype workshop was a huge hit! Everyone jumped right in, creating beautiful botanical prints and making multiple cyanotypes throughout the session. 🌿

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! We can’t wait to welcome you back to BFAC. And as always—everyone is welcome here! 🙌

The Minis and Juniors traveled all around the world in their theme: Global Art, doing embroidery, sculpturing, collage, and so much more! In the meantime the Seniors were creating their very own films, learning how to use stop-motion animation software!

Like always Mark Yungblut’s workshop was full of concentration, careful precision, and of course, tons of fun! Everyone made such beautiful and intricate designs. Can’t wait to see everyone again and what you’ll make next time!
