Imagine seven humming birds hoovering around your knee. Each at a certain spot flapping their wings at 80 times/second, gently touching the achy parts of your knee with their wings. Now imagine you could turn them on and off in certain patterns and timings and frequencies. Vibrant is the result of working on this vision for the past 5 years. For Humming birds, we use weighted DC motors revolving at 6000 rotations per minute or 100 times/second which is a bit faster than the humming birds. To control them we use a microchip which is programmed with the lines of codes that are the result of digging through more than 40,000 datasets collected from more than 2500 users. VIBRANT is a pre-programmed controllable vibration mesh architecture, embedded in wearable wraps, pads and braces. How it works:
