Reading and Writing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
That’s the topic of our Lunchtime Series event THIS THURSDAY, October 1 at 12:30 pm.
ALLISON HANES, Gazette columnist, and RÉMY ATTIG, the new Executive Director of the Quebec Writers' Federation. will have a conversation about the impact of AI on human creativity.

Today is the first day of Fall…and our librarians invite you to “Fall into a good book!”
The display in the picture is in our main lobby below the marble plaque commemorating the opening of our Atwater Avenue building in January 1920.
For most of our 198-year history, our organization was called “The Mechanics’ Institute of Montreal” but we’ve gone by the name “Atwater Library” for the past several decades.

Poet and performer DEANNA SMITH aka Ms. D-NA will lead participants in an exploration of discovered truths and family stories:

We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Lectures LOGOS Readings for this special workshop.
