History went down this weekend, the first ever World Cup on 1199!
To celebrate, we created a special piece of Evolution merch, inspired by one of Whistler’s most iconic tracks - 1199.
We wanted this design to capture the feel of both Evolution and 1199, encompassing Evolution’s spirit with the key features of the track.
1199 stands as a legacy to the late Stevie Smith, who played such a huge part in inspiring a generation of Canadian downhill racers, including many of the riders lining up on this track today.
A piece of Whistler, Evolution and World Cup history!

Meet August, Evolution’s youngest ever official team rider, who is just 6 years old! August loves tearing it up on the pump track, dirt jumps, and out on the trails.
We are stoked to have August with us on the team and cannot wait to watch him grow and progress as a rider/amazing human. Let’s go August 👊🏼
Thank you for the edit 📹
