📊 Durham Region’s August housing market saw a seasonal slowdown as summer came to a close. A total of 568 homes sold, down 20.3% from July, while the average sale price decreased 2.1% to $823,153.

New listings totalled 1,426, down 17.1% from July, while homes spent an average of 33 days on the market, reflecting a more measured pace as we move toward fall.

📊 Durham Region’s July housing market saw a more moderate pace as we moved further into summer. A total of 713 homes sold, down 12.6% from June, while the average sale price remained relatively stable at $840,581, a 1.6% decrease from the previous month.

New listings totalled 1,720, down 16.3% from June, but buyers continued to have plenty of choice across the region. Homes sold in an average of 29 days, reflecting a market with healthy inventory and more balanced conditions.
