We recently moved our daughter into university dorm room with VERY limited storage, so we had to pack smart. And one of my biggest tips?

Pack the way you actually LIVE.

My daughter is NOT folding and rolling every little shirt. 😂
Her clothes are getting tossed in a drawer.
So why pack them in these perfectly folded little bundles?!

Those neat piles will be GONE in no time and then nothing will fit back in.

So bottom line - don’t pack for the person you WISH you were.
Pack for the person you ACTUALLY are.

This weird trick helps keep the table clear of unwanted clutter.

With the change of the season I set a beautiful table 🍁 (I just LOVE Fall! )

and that’s enough to keep people from piling on
random papers
…and return packages
…and the tools my husband keeps saying he’s going to put away 😒

Plus it makes me happy to see the table all festive and pretty!
