Join Fleur Franz as she takes your child on a fun, artistic adventure that keeps in mind our global efforts to reuse and help our environment!

Fleur has experience teaching and making ceramics (WAG), teaching at school and more recently creating art at home with her children. She is a Fine Arts Graduate and hopes to bring her enthusiasm and knowledge into these weekend art classes!

Projects may include decorative decoupage, glass jar lights (festive or spooky), snowglobes, wooden garden animal decoration, rock magnets, printmaking wrapping paper and bags, and batik banners, to name a few.

All projects will be using, when possible, recycled materials, and families will be asked to start saving some items from their recycling bin for these art classes.

This class is intended for kids from 9 to 12 years of age.

The Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce is hosting an election forum to provide citizens with an opportunity to hear from candidates running for city council in the Waverley West ward.
