Mini Soccer Weather Update – U5/U6 Cancelled Tonight

Due to confirmed thunder and lightning in the area, U5/U6 Mini Soccer is cancelled tonight.

We know this is disappointing, especially after planning to proceed earlier based on the forecast. However, weather conditions changed quickly, and player safety always comes first.

⚽🥅 Mini Soccer – Week 5 Focus: Shooting & Scoring! 🥅⚽

This week at WRCC Mini Soccer, our young athletes are moving into one of the most exciting parts of the season — Shooting & Scoring Goals!

After spending the first few weeks learning ball control, dribbling, and passing, players are now building confidence kicking the ball toward a target and celebrating every scoring opportunity.

Some of the fun drills players may see this week include:
⚽ Dribble & Score
🎯 Cone Knock Down
👟 Pass & Shoot
🏃 1v1 to Goal
🥅 Shoot After Turn

At Mini Soccer, success isn’t about perfect technique — it’s about smiles, movement, confidence, and enjoying the game.

If the kids leave smiling, excited, and wanting to come back next week — we’re doing it right! ❤️⚽

Whyte Ridge Community Centre is excited to offer our summer camps for children between the ages of 5 and 12!

Camps will run for the following weeks from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM-4 PM. Kids can be dropped off as early as 8:30am and stay until 4:30pm.

The camps will offer a variety of activities including sports, games, arts, crafts, science experiments and special guests.

Costs are $190.00 per camp ($152.00 for short weeks).

Please note that not all activities are related to our weekly themes, but they are a lot of fun!
