FPDI administers and supports 28 First Nation Sub-Agreement Holders (SAH's) ISET Program
FPDI supports 28 First Nation Sub-Agreement Holders (SAHs) to develop and deliver their own in-demand labour market programs and services that meet their individual labour market and employment needs. Sub-Agreement Holders deliver a wide range of human resource programs and assist clients to obtain, prepare for, and maintain employment through the delivery of the Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ISETS). FPDI undertakes capacity building activities under ISETS program to assist the Sub-Agreement Holders to achieve greater success in training to employment initiatives through:
- identifying labour market opportunities
- building capacity and facilitating development
- creating partnerships with industry and educators and;
- ensuring fiscal accountability

FPDI will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We honour the children who never returned home, survivors, and the families and communities impacted by the residential school system. We remain committed to creating opportunities that empower people to build brighter futures while recognizing the lasting impacts of the past.

🔧 Try a Trade & Pipe Up About Your Future!
Trades are heating up as a career choice! FPDI has partnered with Piping Industry Technical College/ UA Local 254 (PITC) to bring you a Try-a-Trade program featuring plumbing, refrigeration, steamfitting, and sprinkler fitting. First Nations participants can access free tuition to explore these high-demand trades and see which career path fits them to a tee.
