Un gobelet à la main, un sourire retrouvé… derrière ce geste simple, un besoin vital enfin comblé.
Au centre de formation d’AGIR RDC à Lac Vert, la faim freinait l’apprentissage de nombreuses mères et leurs enfants. Sans alimentation suffisante, difficile de se former, de se soigner ou même de tenir toute une journée..

Face à cela, une solution concrète : la distribution de bouillie enrichie. Un appui essentiel pour la santé, la dignité et la réussite.
Mais les besoins restent grands.

Aujourd'hui, cette action a besoin d'être renforcée. Chacun peut y contribuer: un don, un appui bénévole ou même un geste simple compte énormément. Soutenir cette initiative, c'est investir encore une fois dans l'avenir de notre communauté.

We are supporting this work. The malnutrition is a consequence of many lives upended and not enough food. Your support helps so many people in so many ways, AGIR RDC sees what the needs are and decides what to do...efficient, effective and credible!

We love to see people who'd been in IDP camps for years, who met others and learned to work together, save and repay loans...now home and able to rent land to farm, thanks to the work of AGIR RDC!

AGIR RDC is providing young people with the opportunity to work with smart, capable leaders with integrity, and provides spaces for people of all ages to gather, discuss, question and learn. While also responding to the needs of internally displaced people who need to know that someone cares, and that there's hope!

Aujourd’hui et chaque jour, agissons pour les droits de toutes les femmes et de toutes les filles. 💜

Our partners in Goma are teaching university students to research, analyze and edit project proposals based on real situations, they are teaching first aid and signs to recognize Mpox and other diseases to domestic workers, and reproductive health, breastfeeding and how to avoid unplanned pregnancy and STDs. Practical information not readily available otherwise. Bless them!! Connect with them if you're in Goma. Please follow AGIR RDC instead of this page, which I don't update often enough...Congo's situation changes at the top (who controls what today) but unfortunately not much changes for the most vulnerable. Which is why I'm supporting AGIR with everything I have, so that they can succeed in their vision for a better life for everyone in North Kivu! (for all of Congo, but starting where they are...).
