The One Thread Project is a collaboration with Emmanuel Training Center. We know there is a need for sustainable jobs in order for families to stay together.
The One Thread Program exists to offer sewing vocational education, high impact business training, mentorship, and the hope of Jesus Christ to the women and children in Kinshasa, DRC. Our desire is to prevent any mother from having to make the decision to leave her children. Our goal is to give each woman opportunity through education, job training, and having a relationship with Jesus.

We recently sat down with a group of moms from our program in N’Djili, and hearing them talk about their kids’ growth was everything. From learning to read to showing up with a whole new wave of confidence, these Young Scholars are absolutely thriving!
It takes a village, and we are so incredibly grateful for ours, both in the Congo and right here at home!

This is exactly how we’re feeling after Give to Lincoln Day! We set a goal of $1,000 to fund business seed loans for our students in Congo, and you completely blew us away by helping us raise $4,310!
Because of your incredible generosity, more young entrepreneurs will get the training and seed capital they need to launch businesses and truly thrive!

TODAY IS THE DAY! 🎉 The 15th annual Day is officially LIVE!
Today, we have a big goal: We are trying to raise $1,000 for our Seed Loan program.
Students at the One Thread Project learn how to write unique business plans. Your donations today directly fund the microloans they need to launch those plans, start their own businesses, and create sustainable livelihoods.
Because of the $650,000 Lincoln Community Foundation match fund, your $10, $25, or $100 gift gives us an even bigger piece of the pie to empower these young entrepreneurs!
