Hirscheneck

art handlers noise contest #1
18.06.26 at Hirscheneck

the first international art handlers noise contest at the collectively run club-restaurant hirscheneck.

featuring international and local artists from the noise and experimental music scene — all connected through the responsible work of art handling.

with acts from berlin (formerly canada), poland / zurich, glasgow (formerly texas), and local art handlers from basel and across switzerland.

art handlers are usually known as calm, pragmatic people — often with jamiroquai in their ears. with this evening, we want to highlight a different side of the profession: those who handle fragile artworks with the same care they bring to feedback, contact microphones, and sonic experimentation.

studio halblegal will also be present, ready to leave a lasting memory under your skin.
