We’ve sunken our teeth into this quite a while now. We’re thrilled to announce we’re making a live score to F.W. Murnau’s „Nosferatu“, showing here in Bern August 8th after sundown at the „Kino im Kocher“ Openair Film Festival. 🩸

VERTICAL HELICAL SCAN is out.
In struggle, there’s calm. In calm, there’s doubt. What you hear, can you trust? What you see, is it there?
For “Vertical Helical Scan” PLESS digs in to their ambient headspace, manifesting in cinematic landscapes for the listeners to roam and get pleasantly lost in. PLESS’ fourth album is an atmospheric synth semi-ambient 9-track foray into a more introspective mood, yet a distinct urge for melody and classic song structure can be heard throughout the release. The usual delusions of grandeur are obviously still there, and here they sometime even cross the line from delusion to reality.  
On the second release on the bands own Malibi Records the duo has joined forces with Jens Vranckx as the live and beyond visual wizard. The collaboration is a huge inspiration and a door opener to additional expeditions into audio-visual experiments and interplay between the two media.
A physical release is in the works, what might be the appropriate format? More details when we get there.
