WISeKey is now WISeQey. 🚀

As of October 5, 2026, WISeQey Corp. trades on Nasdaq and SIX under our new ticker $WQEY, following our redomiciliation from Switzerland to the British Virgin Islands.

This is more than a new name and structure. It marks a new chapter as we enter the Intelligence Age, where billions of intelligent machines (electric vehicles, robots, drones and satellites) will communicate and act on their own. They will all need one thing: trust.

WISeQey is building that trusted infrastructure by combining secure semiconductors, digital identity, post-quantum cybersecurity, AI, IoT and secure satellite communications.

Congratulation WISeSat.Space ($SAIQ) on its Nasdaq listing. WISeSat.Space received a $10 million PIPE investment led by SEALSQ ($LAES), to advance its satellite infrastructure and integrate post-quantum cryptography into its satellites, ground and user segments. 🛰️

What if your watch could protect your digital identity? ⌚🔐

Ten years ago, WISeKey and Bulgari turned the Bulgari Diagono Magnesium into a luxury watch with a built-in digital identity. Tap it to your phone, and it unlocked an encrypted personal vault secured in the Swiss Alps. Still 100% luxury, 0% gadget.

👉 Watch the original concept: https://lnkd.in/eEgDg_Qe

Now we're taking the idea much further. Our next-generation WISe.Watch will combine:

✅ Post-quantum secure chips from SEALSQ
✅ WISeKey's Swiss Root of Trust
✅ Blockchain-anchored authenticity, a digital birth certificate for every timepiece
✅ Satellite connectivity through WISeSat.Space

We now want to bring all of this together in a next-generation WISe.Watch, a Swiss timepiece that works as a quantum-resistant identity vault for its owner. This video shows what we have in mind.
Are you a Swiss watch manufacturer? We'd love to partner with you. Send us a message to start the conversation.

🔐 Building trust for the age of autonomous AI.

WISeKey and OISTE.ORG have expanded their Quantum Root Key into a full Post-Quantum Root of Trust — giving AI models, agents and devices verifiable digital identities, so systems can cryptographically confirm who (or what) they're really talking to.

As AI takes on more autonomous decisions, knowing an AI agent is authentic and unmodified becomes essential. This new architecture moves us from "trust me" AI to "verify me" AI, anchored in quantum-safe cryptography and secure hardware. 🧠🔒

🤖✍️ Add your voice to the future of AI.

As AI systems become more powerful and autonomous, we believe human values need to stay at the center of the conversation. That's the idea behind the HUMAN-AI-T Manifesto - join us in shaping a future where AI serves people, not the other way around.

🇨🇭 A new chapter for Swiss semiconductor sovereignty.

WISeKey, SEALSQ and the Canton of Jura have signed an agreement to build a Post-Quantum Semiconductor and Cybersecurity Center in Jura, Switzerland — a proposed CHF 40–60 million project expected to create over 250 jobs by year 8.

The center will focus on designing, personalizing and securing next-generation post-quantum chips, blending SEALSQ's cybersecurity technology with Jura's renowned precision manufacturing expertise. 🔐⚙️

Can Quantum Technology Help Keep AI Under Human Control?

By Carlos Creus Moreira

The fear that artificial intelligence could one day escape meaningful human control is no longer confined to science fiction. As AI systems gain the ability to write code, use tools and act with less supervision, we must ask a practical question: who can verify what they are doing, who can stop them, and who is accountable if they cause harm?

On paper, leading AI companies accept the need for oversight. Anthropic has pointed to regulators such as the Federal Aviation Administration and the Food and Drug Administration as possible models and has proposed greater access for outside safety evaluators. Google DeepMind has proposed a frontier AI standards body. These are constructive ideas. But voluntary commitments cannot be the final authority over systems whose consequences may extend far beyond the companies that build them. California’s frontier AI transparency law, which Anthropic supported, is one step toward enforceable obligations.

The HUMAN-AI-T initiative starts with a principle: human dignity, agency and responsibility must remain at the centre of technological progress. Intelligence can help us solve problems. It cannot decide, on humanity’s behalf, which values matter or how much risk others must bear. Our manifesto on embedding human values into AI calls for governance that protects those boundaries as AI grows more capable.

Where does quantum computing fit? We should be precise. A quantum computer is not a machine that can prove an AI system is safe. It cannot supply human judgment, guarantee alignment or make a developer accountable. Indeed, future quantum computers could make some existing digital security systems vulnerable. Treating “quantum” as a magic solution would weaken the very debate we need to have.

Quantum technology can, however, contribute to a stronger framework for trust.

First, AI oversight depends on knowing who or what is acting. An autonomous system that can request data, write software or operate equipment should have a verifiable identity and permissions that can be withdrawn. Its important actions should leave records that independent investigators can authenticate. Post-quantum cryptography standards published by NIST give us tools to protect such identities and records against a future quantum threat. This is cryptography designed to resist quantum computers; it does not require a quantum computer to run.

Second, independent evaluation must become real. Auditors need access to test powerful models before deployment and after significant changes. They need ways to verify which version they tested, whether critical safeguards were altered, and what happened when a system crossed a safety threshold. Secure hardware, authenticated records and post-quantum digital signatures could make that evidence harder to falsify. The technology would support the auditor; it would never replace the auditor’s judgment.

SEALSQ’s CEO, Carlos Moreira Joins the Board of Trustees of the World Law Foundation and Proposes Creation of a Global AI Chapter 17/09/2026

Honored to see our CEO Carlos Creus Moreira join the Board of Trustees of the World Law Foundation.

AI is advancing faster than the legal and technical systems designed to govern it. Carlos Moreira has proposed a permanent, independent AI Chapter within the World Jurist Association, bringing together jurists, scientists, policymakers, technology companies and civil society. Through HUMAN-AI-T, the goal is to develop measurable safeguards that keep people in control and protect their rights, safety and dignity.

At SEALSQ and WISeKey, we've spent years building technologies for digital identity, authentication and security. We believe these tools can help make AI accountability verifiable in practice.

We look forward to working with the World Law Foundation and partners around the world on this proposal.
