Visual Exchange is an organization dedicated to participatory art-based processes and action-research for social innovation and empowerment.
Visual Exchange brings together audio-visual professionals and experts in human and social sciences to provide consultancy services to organizations. We develop participatory approach along with visual to promote changes and innovations with people and groups in their fields. Working with participatory visual methods may be the right approach for your problem. It brings to light underlying explanations of general outcomes showing links to beliefs or values that underlie specific behaviors or systemic relations. That's why we use mainly art therapy and participatory video methods as powerful tools to explore social issues and specific fields from inside to strengthen individuals and groups and produce pertinent advice and development materials.

Participatory video is a very powerful tool to enable individuals, groups and communities to explore issues that concern themselves. Through the involvement of people in shaping their own film, along with capacity building, it gives the ability to amplify voices and to engage exchanges of roles, power and insights that help to trigger a dynamic of change that emanates from within.
