Geneva Watch Days just wrapped its seventh, and biggest, edition yet.

With a record 71 participating brands, around 400 new watches were unveiled across the city, drawing more than 2,500 private clients and collectors, over 500 international media and content creators, and more than 300 international retailers. Bvlgari stole the spotlight with four new titanium models, including a striking collaboration with independent watchmaker Vianney Halter. Chopard leaned into nostalgia with its L.U.C 1963 Heritage line, Corum made a bold return with ceramics and bi-material bracelets, and Czapek celebrated its new Geneva boutique, fittingly located steps from where the brand's founder first set up shop in the 1830s. The community spirit extended beyond the watches themselves too, with CHF 115,000 raised at the Phillips charity auction for the Geneva Watchmaking School.

Whether you came for the haute horlogerie showstoppers or the excellent sub-CHF 3,000 releases, this year proved Geneva Watch Days has become a genuine celebration for anyone who loves watches.

A century after opening its doors in Florence's Piazza San Giovanni, Panerai is marking the occasion with two new watches that dig into a genuinely obscure piece of its history.

Both the Luminor Firenze Otto Giorni PAM01734 and PAM01794 take inspiration from a rare 1960s ref. 6152/1 prototype bearing the "Panerai Firenze" inscription. The PAM01734 leans precious: a 44mm Platinumtech case, a green sandwich dial with gold-effect pencil hands, and an eight-day power reserve from the hand-wound P.5000 caliber, limited to 100 pieces. The PAM01794 takes a more rugged approach in steel, with a black dial, blue hands, green Super-LumiNova and 300 meters of water resistance across a 1,000-piece run. Both share a Florentine lily motif on their Tuscan calf-leather straps.

A century of history, translated into two watches that feel genuinely relevant today rather than simply nostalgic.

While Cartier and Audemars Piguet have been driving the jumping-hour trend at the top of the market, independent Lucerne-based brand Chronoswiss is offering a genuinely distinctive take of its own.

The new Neo Digiteur Pastel Code moves away from the usual round case in favor of a gently curved rectangle, 48mm x 30mm, inspired by the original Digiteur created by founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang back in 2005. The real statement, though, is on the dial: three pastel tones, pink, mint and a blue somewhere between sky and denim, each a playful twist on more traditional dial colors. Hours, minutes and seconds stack vertically, with the hour jumping while the other two glide, powered by a hand-wound movement with Chronoswiss's proprietary jumping-hour module and 48 hours of power reserve.

Limited to 99 pieces per color, this capsule is clearly built for collectors who like to stand out.

Geneva Watch Days brought over 400 new releases this year, but the real revelation was the entry-level segment, once dusty and neglected, now genuinely fresh and innovative. Both major brands and small independents are raising the bar here: Ba1110d's skeleton chronograph proves serious horological value doesn't need a big price tag, Frederique Constant's vintage-inspired Moneta Handwinding channels pure purist appeal, and M.A.D. Editions' Vincent Calabrese piece has become so popular you now need to enter a raffle just to get one.

Whether you're building your first collection or adding an easy daily-wear piece to an existing one, this segment is worth a closer look.

Louis Vuitton's love affair with travel keeps finding new ways to show up on the wrist, and the Tambour Spin Time collection just grew by five pieces, each taking the line's signature spinning-cube architecture somewhere new.

The standout is the Tambour Spin Time Air Antipode Blue, a white gold piece displaying 24 time zones across its 12 cubes, pairing cities exactly 12 hours apart like Los Angeles and Dubai, with everything adjustable through the crown alone. The Green edition returns to the model's 2009 roots with a sandblasted dial and matching rubber strap, while the Australia's Opal marks the first Tambour case in rose gold, its fiery blue opal dial requiring three full days of gem-setting work. The Air Blue leans graphic, its cubes spelling out "Louis Vuitton" in a 42.5mm white gold case, and the collection closes with the Air Flying Tourbillon Salmon, a platinum haute horlogerie piece whose flying tourbillon cage is shaped like the Monogram flower.

Five very different watches, one very consistent obsession.
