I went to a farm in Bamougoum.

The man called us, "Come and see my soil test, I want to plant."

I get there, I look at his maize. Yellow, Small, and Struggling.

I asked him, "How much NPK did you apply?"

He said "4 bags."

I said, "Did you test your soil before?"

He said no.

We did the test right there. pH 4.8. Very acidic. At that pH, maize cannot absorb the NPK fertilizer from the soil.. You are just throwing fertilizer away. The fertilizer is there, but the roots are locked and can’t feed because of the very acidic nature of the soil.

I told him, if you had called us before planting, you would have put 300kg of Lime or dolomite first, waited 3 weeks, then planted. Your 4 bags would have worked like 8 bags and more.

He lost 200,000 FCFA just like that.

Friends, please. Don't plant blind.

Test your soil first. It can save you about 200,000 FCFA or more.

We are STONEFARMS. We test and we advise.

Send us a message before you clear that farm.

Just another day.

The joy of waking up to rainy weather like this in the morning in the village when you don't want to go to the farm. Pure joy😩😀

Look, before you put anything in the ground, check your soil first.

This is something we never skip at STONEFARMS. We always check the pH with a small pH meter.

Think of it like this... pH tells you if your soil is too sour (acidic) or too alkaline (basic).

If it's too sour (acidic, pH below 5.5), your plant won't eat. You can pour all the fertilizer you want, it just sits in the soil and makes it even more acidic. The roots get locked in that pH. That's why some farmers keep buying fertilizer but their plants are still yellow and weak. Or they put too much fertilizer thinking it will boost yield, and end up with plenty of leaves but no real harvest.

If it's too alkaline (pH above 7.5), it's the same problem. Iron and other nutrients get locked and the plant suffers.

But when the pH is okay, between 5.5 and 7 for most crops, the plant eats properly. It grows well and gives you a better harvest.

How we do it is very simple:

You take soil from four corners of your farm, about a hand deep. Mix them together. Add clean water, stir, and let it settle. Then put your pH meter in and read.

That one small check can save you a lot of money.

And the fix is simple too:

If your soil is too acidic (below 5.5), we add agricultural lime or dolomite to bring it back up.

If it's too alkaline (above 7.5), we add compost, manure, or sulphur to bring it down.

And if you want to go bigger, we can help with full soil testing too. We come to your farm, take proper samples, test them, and give you a clear report - what fertilizer your soil really needs, how much to use, and when to apply it.

Don't just plant and pray. Test your soil first.

If you need help, just send me a message.

Planting is NOT farming. Following up is farming.

You plant and disappear for 3 months, then say the farm failed you.

No. You failed the farm.

That Avocado seedling you bought for 500frs needs 5000frs of care to give you 50,000frs.

15 minutes every 2 days in your farm is what turns story to harvest.

Can't follow up yourself? We can do it for you.

Contact Nature Guide and STONEFARMS for your farm follow-up.

What if you recycled those market bags, cement bags and plastic bottles to make a home hanging garden?

You don't need a big farm to grow your own food.

That plastic bottle you want to throw away can grow lettuce, pepper, leeks, parsley, celery right on your veranda.

Just cut it open by the side, punch small holes under for water to drain, fill with soil and plant. Hang it with a rope. Do the same with market bags and cement bags.

No expensive pots needed. No waste on the ground. Fresh vegetables just outside your door.

At Stonefarms we do this every day. We nurse our plants in recycled bottles and bags. It saves cost and keeps our compound clean.

You can do it too. Start with one bottle today.

Want seedlings to start your own hanging garden? Send us a message.

Your soil is tired.

You add fertilizer every season, but your harvest is dropping. The ground is hard. Water runs off. Your crops look yellow.

It's not your seed. It's the soil.

We've been feeding the plant but killing the soil with chemicals.

At STONEFARMS we decided to go back to what works, liquid organic fertilizer. Yess

It doesn't just feed the plant. It feeds the soil.

-It makes the ground soft again.
-It helps the soil hold water longer.
-It releases nutrients slowly so your crop feeds for months.
-And it doesn't burn the roots.
-You can use it on any crop.

Properly processed and ready to use for maize, vegetables, beans, tomatoes, green spices…E.T.C

Available in 1 litre and 1.5 litre bottles.

If you need it, send "FERTILIZER" to our inbox and we'll send you price and delivery fee.
