This feels like a “full circle moment”.

I am very happy to accept this recognition as an “AI professional” as part of AI Tinkerers Hong Kong in receiving it in Hangzhou.

Alibaba Cloud is one of the companies that believed in the AI Tinkerers Hong Kong community before it even took form.

I actually consulted someone from Alibaba Cloud before even hosting the first meetup, and the success of the meet-ups led to two events with Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong: one for our courtroom drama-fueled demo night, and another for our OpenClaw meetup that filled the room with less than a week’s promotion.

As a community lead, I really appreciate all the partners that have brought us to where we are, in addition to our builders.

These companies are the builders of people.

Thank you to the Alibaba Cloud team for being wonderful hosts, and I look forward to exploring how we can benefit builders in both the AI Tinkerers Hong Kong and Prompt in Progress ecosystem.

Onward to the next milestone.

Always a pleasure to meet wonderful people of this city! Everyone has their own story and builder journey to share.

Thank you all for joining our September networking night today! We had a more intimate group, so it’s great that everyone could get to know each other.

It was wonderful to see both new and familiar faces, some even just visting in town. Looking forward to seeing you all at our future events in the city!

A special shoutout to our venue host for letting us redeem our hackathon prize to fund the nachos! Indirectly, everyone came out a winner tonight!

Started the day at the Microsoft Hong Kong office! Huge thanks to the AI Community Conference organizers for having Prompt in Progress as a supporting community!

My first exposure on a print media outlet, got this souvenir in the mail! Thank you, 經濟一週 EDigest for the gift and for letting Prompt in Progress be a supporting community partner!

Great vibes this afternoon at 8.0.5.5.lkf learning about DJing with vinyl, and thank you to DJ jj_brian and the organizers for putting this together, I’m glad I saw this event on social media.

I really appreciated how his journey sparked from a passion for music and slowly evolved into starting a hospitality business.

DJ Brian started collecting Japanese music on vinyl, and when I asked him if he understood Japanese, he said he didn’t, adding that music shouldn’t be limited by language, and with this, I vibed immediately.

With everything so digital, sometimes it’s worth appreciating the art and journey of collecting and unwind with analog.

Genuinely enjoyed an insightful day at the Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong Partner Connect Series 2026 AI Bootcamp, where my biggest technical takeaway was that multi-agent systems should run in parallel to avoid a single point of failure. Working hands-on with QwenWork and using Wan 3.0 on the WonderClip platform to generate mock content for sovereign AI and hybrid cloud deployment also highlighted the fascinating shift of collaborating with both humans and AI agents simultaneously.

Two events in a week, glad it is done! A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent conversations on where technology and the legal industry are heading. A special thank you to Siew Fong and the team at Ashurst Perrin Coie for hosting us!
