La Fortuna Waterfall, a stunning natural landmark located near the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. The image shows a tall, narrow waterfall plunging from a considerable height into a blue-green pool below. The waterfall is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, with moss-covered rocks and dense jungle foliage creating a vibrant green backdrop. La Fortuna Waterfall is approximately 75 meters (246 feet) high and is fed by the Arenal River that flows through the rainforest. It's a popular tourist destination where visitors can swim in the pool at the base after descending approximately 500 steps to reach it. The area is known for its biodiversity and is part of Costa Rica's remarkable ecosystem that supports numerous plant and animal species.
