From 3–5 June 2026, representatives of local governments, chamber of commerce and development agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina visited Belgrade, Kragujevac and Šabac as part of the study tour “Knowledge Exchange for a More Competitive Region”, organized by NALED and Privredna komora Republike Srpske, with the support of Caritas Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina and NIRAS.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore successful examples of local economic development, digital transformation, investment attraction, industrial zone management, and implementation of the BFC SEE standard. Participants exchanged experiences with peers and gained valuable insights from leading institutions and companies, including the State Data Center in Kragujevac, MIND Park, the eGovernment Development Center, and Galeb Group.
By connecting local leaders and development practitioners across the Western Balkans, initiatives like this strengthen regional cooperation, promote the exchange of good practices, and contribute to creating more competitive and business-friendly communities.
