🎬 The documentary of Somebody Cares Romania is now live!

Located in South Romania, this association is serving communities through three main areas: evangelisation, education, and social care. Their story is one of faith, compassion, and transformed lives.

This documentary shares their journey, experiences, and the impact made over the years — but behind every story are the people who pray, give, and stand together with them.

Today we celebrate and wholeheartedly congratulate The Word for the World – Bible Translation Europe and COO of the Word for the World Europe - Saša Bakić and the incredible team he leads for their vision, dedication, and faithful work.

After 3 years of dedicated work, the New Testament has been completed in Arli, Gurbet, and Cergas!

On this Roma Day, we celebrate something deeply meaningful—Roma people can now take pride in having God’s Word in their own language.

But what does it really mean for Roma in Eastern Europe to have their own translation of the Bible?

Having the Bible in your own language means that God speaks to you in the way you understand best. It means the message comes alive—heart to heart, in Romani. There is something truly special, powerful, and personal when you read the Bible in your own language.

This written Word in Romani carries great value. It is more than translation—it is connection, identity, and transformation.

Today we celebrate, and tomorrow we continue—so that many more can hear God’s voice in their own language.

God,
Thank You for the Roma people.
Thank You for their cultures, their families, and their unique place in this world.

We ask for Your blessing over the Roma people.
Bring peace where there has been pain,
Hope where there has been discouragement,
And unity where there has been division.

Raise up a new generation filled with purpose, courage, and faith.
Let Your love flow through Roma communities,
So they may not only be blessed—
But also become a blessing to others.

Happy International Romani Day!
