Based in Cyprus, we create thoughtful, people-centred architecture that connects communities and responds to place.

From city blocks to courtyards, every project begins with listening and ends with spaces that feel lived, shared, and alive. Architecture Design Practice is an urban, architectural & interior design office based in Cyprus. With over 25 years experience in the industry, we've worked on a range of project types & sizes throughout Cyprus, as well as internationally. This includes residential buildings, commercial, offices, renovations, restorations, mixed-use & urban-community developments.

Louzinianon City Hotel sits only a few streets from the centre of Larnaka, yet within the quieter scale of a residential neighbourhood.

That condition shaped the project from the outset: how can a small urban hotel remain connected to the life of the city, while still offering guests a sense of privacy, calm and retreat?

Facing a neighbourhood park, the building opens towards greenery while recessed balconies, screened openings and a carefully scaled façade mediate between guest rooms and the street. The upper floor is set back to reduce the apparent mass of the building and maintain the scale of its surroundings.

The result is conceived less as a conventional city hotel and more as a quiet place from which to experience Larnaka.

How can a home embrace outdoor living while feeling private on a street-exposed plot?

For the clients of Residence KF, the garden was an essential part of the brief. They wanted nature to be present in their daily routines—in the spaces where they gather, eat and spend time together.

That ambition shaped our response to the site. A layered street frontage offers privacy, allowing the house to open generously towards the garden. A planted atrium brings greenery further into the plan, while shaded terraces create places to spend time outside.

The relationship between openness and enclosure is ultimately about the freedom to enjoy your home: to draw back the curtains, open the doors and feel at ease.

A little clay, a little wine, and a lot of questionable artistic confidence.

The ADP team recently swapped drawings and deadlines for a pottery workshop at KaGe Creative Home, where the creations ranged from handmade plates, coffee cups and mugs to rather more ambitious sculptural experiments.

We shaped, painted, compared techniques, admired each other’s work and, importantly, kept the wine flowing throughout.

A very good reminder that creativity works just as well away from the drawing board.

We are pleased to congratulate Pannie Shambis and Kyriaki Koliandri on completing their practical training in architecture and joining the ADP team as Junior Architects.

During their training, Pannie and Kyriaki became an important part of the office, contributing to projects at different stages — from design development and technical drawings to coordination and site visits.

We asked them to reflect briefly on their experience at ADP.

Pannie Shambis:

“My practical training at ADP has been an especially valuable experience for both my personal and professional development. Through my involvement in real projects and collaboration with professionals in the field, I had the opportunity to experience the process of architectural practice first-hand. I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead, which will allow me to further expand my knowledge and continue developing my approach to design.”

Kyriaki Koliandri:

“My practical training at ADP helped me develop my architectural knowledge and take on greater responsibility, while experiencing the full process of a project — from the preparation of drawings to on-site visits and construction. I look forward to continuing my professional journey, broadening my knowledge, responding to different design needs and requirements, and collaborating with the wider project team to contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.”

Congratulations, Pannie and Kyriaki. We are very pleased to have you continuing with ADP and look forward to seeing your work, ideas and experience develop over the years ahead.

In Cyprus, Sunday is for Souvla. At ADP, we believe Sunday should ALSO be for Sustainable Heating! 🇨🇾

We are proud to unveil the Thermo-Souvla™ Integration. Why let that delicious charcoal energy go to waste when you can use it to power your home?

Our revolutionary 'Rotisserie-to-Radiator' system captures the thermal energy from your BBQ pit and converts it into underfloor heating. 🍖☀️
