Korfball gets its first local activity!
Taking place at Hylatio Tourist Village, on the 6th of September 2026, youngsters and even youth workers from all over Cyprus got to try out the Korfball game at the hotel’s premises!

A completely new game to many of the participants, the activity was a chance to discover a sport that combines teamwork, movement and communication in a fun and inclusive way. Participants quickly got into the spirit of the game, learning the basic rules, trying out different positions and, of course, enjoying a few friendly matches along the way! 😄
More than just trying out a new sport, the activity brought people together through movement, teamwork and a lot of laughs — showing once again how sports can create opportunities to connect, learn and have fun together.

This is of course just the beginning, as the project still has its training course that is set to take place in Cyprus later this month, as well as a major local activity taking place on the 16th of September at the very same place!

You may sign up for that event at acpelia.org under Local projects, or
