In September 2013 we quit our consultancy jobs and started developing a concept which was completely new in Czechia. Banks soon began to show interest: „Business intelligence? That sounds promising.” Three months later we got our first investor. Banking institutions, however, took their time. For us, those were thrilling times. We were busy meeting bank representatives and making tons of presentations, all while operating as a team of two. The turning point came with UniCredit Bank and the U-šetřete programme. Nowadays there are twenty people working at Dateio. We continue to proudly develop a product which shows merchants a completely new perspective on business.
