It was amazing to finally get our hiking boots on and to get outdoors for a good romp without having to worry about falling off the side of the mountain in the fog! Sometimes things don't go to plan but you just have to roll with the punches and Segway a little.

A part of our holiday where we had to compromise due to bad weather but still managed to have some fun and catch some cool views through the mist and rain!

Cheers to 33 Years on this planet and in true Jess style, I'm celebrating my birthday exploring a new country 😁

Sometimes I think it can be easy to focus on things we haven't done, haven't succeeded in and feel like you are constantly coming up short, but looking back through my photos to do this post, and having to only pick 20 moments, it made me realise just how much I've achieved, seen and done in these 33 years of life.

I'd like to think that little Jess would be blown away by the countries we've visited, animals we've seen, milestones managed and that we fulfilled our dream of becoming a vet.

So cheers to 33 years, I can't wait to see what's in store on my next trip around the sun. 🎂

A first glimpse of Georgia:

A few more rounds of Armenia photos yet to go - we set off from Lake Sevan and headed north to Dilijan, nicknamed "the Switzerland of Armenia." There's a street with beautiful alpine style houses and cobbled streets which you could definitely see where the nickname comes from. However, if you're not into hiking, in which case, this is the place for you and there are several national hiking trails in the area, there isn't much else to do here. We'd recommend a quick stop off to explore the old streets before continuing on to Debed Canyon where there's a bit more to do in the area to suit all tastes.

WOW Glamping would be our absolute top recommendation of somewhere to stay while in Debed canyon. The cabins were beautiful, cosy and private and it felt really luxurious to wake up slowly, enjoy a brew with a spectacular view and have a little bit of R&R.
