I'm sad tonight to hear of the passing of Berlin singer Olli Beuth. Olli once told me he really liked one of my songs, "100 Miles Behind". He ended up recording it. In my opinion he sang the song way better than me and really got the whole feeling of it.
Thanks Olli.

This Friday in Karlín
Saturday 23rd of May is Žižkovské mezidvorky. I’ll be playing with “Harpo” Mark Nessmith at 7pm in the garden of the Mon Ami Žižkov. Phil Shoenfelt will play after us. It’s always a blast at Žižkovske Mezidvorky in Mon Ami, lots of fun & great music. Come join us!
Joe Armstrong and myself have a quieter moment amongst all the rock’n’roll at the Olegô Festival in La Charité sur Loire on the Sunday afternoon. Here’s our version of the 13th Floor Elevators’ “You Gotta Take That Girl”.

Unfortunately Joe has injured his back and can’t play tonight. Mark Nessmith and I will provide the music instead. It should still be a fun night.
