No hunting for the right tool. No guessing at setup. Just a guided, touch based workflow that brings the machine's own tooling and setup information into the process, and checks the result with built in simulation before it runs.
In internal benchmark testing, operators completed programming up to 70% faster than standard G-code entry on supported 3 Axis and 3+2 Axis prismatic milling work. That's less dependence on a small number of expert programmers, and more confidence at cycle start for everyone else.

Conventional 3-axis finishing strategies rely on triangulated mesh approximations. On complex cavities, cores, and multi-patch inserts, mesh tessellation introduces chordal deviation and visible facet lines. Correcting these flaws requires extensive, skilled manual benchwork; affecting the production costs and creating unpredictable delivery schedules.

Why use one feed rate when cutting conditions are constantly changing?
A tool doesnโt experience the same cutting load throughout a toolpath. Material engagement can change from one moment to the next, so why should the feed rate stay fixed?
With FeedControl, it doesnโt.
FeedControl uses machining physics to continuously adjust the feed rate based on the actual cutting conditions. It considers factors such as:
โข Chip load
โข Cutting force
โข Side load
โข Spindle power and torque
When the cut is light, FeedControl can increase the feed rate. When the cutting load increases, it slows down to keep the process within safe limits.
The result?
Smoother cutting. More consistent tool loads. Less stress on the tool and machine. And shorter machining times when conditions allow.
