30 Years of Crow - The Mural

A new mural to commemorate my 30th anniversary as a writer!
Over the next few days, I’ll be looking back on the last three decades and posting some historical photos and sketches.
Stay tuned! There will also be some specials: a print, shirts, stickers, a pop-up exhibition and a live painting event in Ansbach - Tourismus Ansbach - during the “Grüne Nacht” on September 26, 2026.

The Crow is back!

Happy Birthday to me. Yesterday I spend a day in Dresden to paint at the legendary Urban Syndromes Jam alongside incredible artists such as Dejoe, Akte One, Cren, Inka, Some, Bandits Crew and many, many more.

I first took part in this jam in 2005! It is hard to believe that it’s already the 28th anniversary of the jam.

Thanks to SLIDER x ELFY x SLIDELFY. and Elfy for the invitation and good organization.

This is only a short (style only) preview of an amazing concept wall (28 days later) with Slider, Blaze, Kaisy, Rob & Shrine. Stay tuned!

Hard to believe. 23 years after I first painted this passageway in my hometown of Ansbach - Tourismus Ansbach , I was finally able to create an update together with my brother . The big Handstyle says „Adlerpassage“ as a reminder that in this particular building used to be a restaurant called „Black Eagle“. Here’s a little preview. The complete collage is coming soon!

I met three Spanish Style Maestros and a Dutch Wizard of Letterbending during this years „Hit the Trog Jam“ Hit the Trog Emden in Emden. So we decided to hit another spot together.

We had no plan and even less time, since I had a 7-hour drive ahead of me. I decided to try a rare freestyle. It was supposed to be a “Machine Style” , but ended up being quite a disaster after nearly 2 hours of “graffiti pilates.” The other guys pretty burned me, but it was still a blast.

Thanks to , .183, Fons Smote and Shore 397 for the good time. And thanks to Holger Gold for the cool spot in Aurich.

What a blast. Did this little „Handstyle“ wall today at the „Hit the Trog Jam“ in Emden alongside many friends and legends.

It says Alphabet „Leevhebben“ - which means „loving“ in Platt(deutsch), the OG language from Ostfriesland.

Good Conversations and laughs with the Spanish Armada (Roice, Shore, Fonse) Flying Förtress, Copsa, Dejoe, Kry, Skore183, Tasek, Seyo, Wok, Slider, Elfy, Mega, Romeo, Desk7, DJ Bite, Nozm, Sept79, 123Klan, Won, Loomit and many many more.

I also recorded a podcast for Walls Don’t Lie with Rek and Disco. Thanks again for being part of this festival.

Long time no see(hear & paint).

Manche haben es vielleicht schon mitbekommen: Mich hat ein sehr aufwendiges Buchprojekt fast acht Monate komplett in Beschlag genommen. Bis das Werk tatsächlich gedruckt sein wird, wird es zwar noch eine Weile dauern – aber jetzt kann ich mich endlich wieder mehr den Dingen widmen, die mich vor ziemlich genau 30 Jahren infiziert haben.

Und wie könnte man so ein Jubiläum besser feiern als bei einem internationalen Graffiti-Festival?

Das Hit the Trog Jam in Emden versammelt ein Line-up wie aus dem Who-is-Who-Lexikon des Stylewritings – Bates , Can2, Zebster, 123Klan, Won ABC, Loomit, Flying Förtress, Dejoe, Phet, Skore, Roice183, Slider, Rosy, Kane, Poet62 …

Dankenswerterweise haben mich die Organisatoren eingeladen, morgen einen Podcast für Walls Don’t Lie aufzunehmen und natürlich auch eine kleine Wand zu malen.

Ein Wiedersehen mit vielen geschätzten Artists, jede Menge Aerosol und sicherlich auch der eine oder andere Fan-Moment für mich.

Long time no see (hear or paint).

Some of you may have already noticed: I’ve been completely absorbed in a very ambitious book project for almost eight months. It’ll still be a while before the book is actually printed — but now I can finally devote more time again to the things that first got me hooked almost exactly 30 years ago.

And what better way to celebrate such an anniversary than at an international graffiti festival?

The Hit the Trog Jam in Emden features a lineup straight out of the Who’s Who of style writing—Bates, Can2, Zebster, 123Klan, Won ABC, Loomit, Flying Förtress, Dejoe, Phet, Skore, Roice183, Slider, Rosy, Kane, Poet62 and many more…

Thankfully, the organizers have invited me to record a podcast for „Walls Don’t Lie“ tomorrow and (of course) to paint a small wall as well.

A reunion with many esteemed artists, plenty of aerosol, and surely a fan moment or two for me.

After a long hiatus a full colour sketch: In honor of “Nowe,” who sadly passed away far too early. Unfortunately, I didn’t know him well, but I had the opportunity to paint a wall with him and my friend . .berlin was an incredibly kind person who tragically leaves behind a wonderful son.

To support his loved ones, Master .turbo has launched a book project featuring sketches and photos of many of his companions. Thank you for letting me be a part of it. We will keep you updated as soon as there is news about the publication.

P.S. This year marks my 30th anniversary as a writer, and I have a few gems in the pipeline that will follow pretty soon.

When ID meets ID.
