Import Projects

We are living through a technological revolution that is profoundly altering society, ecology, and even subjectivity. Contemporary artists must attempt to reflect upon and critique the texture of these changes, offer daring insights into our relationship with them, and imagine alternatives. The most relevant artistic practices of today forge new languages as they pursue these tasks. Import Projects is a curatorial initiative founded in 2012 that is committed to the problematics of the networked era and the artists who address it. We champion a mixture of emerging and established artists, from Germany and the rest of the world. Wherever possible, we pursue collaborations with other non-profit initiatives.
