Another NEO 2.0 Full-Body Scanner has found its new home, this time in Germany! We’re excited to see our latest installation up and running at the VR department of TU Ilmenau, where it will support ongoing research projects and scientific work.
It’s always rewarding to see our technology being used to help researchers move their work forward.

Sometimes the best solution is a custom 🛠️
Our latest machine is a Studio Scanner built for VERTEX | Physical & Digital Retail Innovation
Flexible, that pulls full control back in the hands of the people who know what they’re doing.

We’ve been heads-down lately 🔧
Building custom machines — made from scratch for real needs, not just tweaks to our standard lineup.
Latest one: a custom photogrammetry rig, headed to a university in Montreal 🇨🇦
A few sneak peek shots from our hall before it shipped out — more details soon.

Our second skin of the month: a Classic Adidas Ultraboost 👟
scanned with the MOMENTUM 2.0 and reconstructed in Metashape - no post-production❗️

The capture took under two minutes. The Momentum’s glass turntable allows cameras to photograph the underside of the shoe simultaneously, so the full show is capturing in one skin without repositioning or flipping.

Full-body 3D scan. w/ Multiple reconstruction methods.
We’re currently researching and comparing different techniques — from classic photogrammetry to Gaussian splatting.
Hair and translucent details remain a challenge in traditional 3D workflows.
With Gaussian splats, they behave very differently. ✨
More tests coming soon.
