ꜰᴏʟʟᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴇꜱꜱ🥷🏼⚡️ I didn’t ride trails again that year.
I got my first MTB, a Vitus Nucleus 275 hardtail, in 2019 and focused only on long bike tours with zero trail riding. That changed in February 2022 when I discovered a local trail and started learning jumps & technical riding. Two months later on April 20, 2022, I attempted a ~4m gap jump. After landing it multiple times, I crashed face-first into a rock, shattering my cheekbone, cracking my skull, causing internal bleeding, and breaking my pinky. After seven hours of surgery, I was left with eight titanium plates in my face. In 2023, I promised to return. I built a full-suspension enduro bike and, by May (13 months later), cleared the same jump that had taken me out. A month later, I entered my first Enduro race, completely clueless and unprepared. I made plenty of mistakes but quickly gained skills—and a great community. In 2024, I joined 10 races & made it to the podium 5 times one of which was a P1 win & a P3 overall in the championships.

It’s been 476 days ago since the last time I’ve been on a podium. P2 in Decin, CZ with FRESH Enduro last weekend felt so good despite falling +3.7 seconds short against Honza Zajic
The trails were sooo nice and technical. Really love it. Thanks Přemek Tejchman 69 Ondra Sedlák for your hardwork.
Thanks to JONES CYCLES RACING 🏁 JONES CYCLES for always being there to support me and for TRAFFIC DISTRIBUTION for these plush and grippy Hutchinson Cycling tyres. I would never race on them if I didn’t like and trust them. Thank you.

Rough session with .snke._
Love the lower section of the Enduro Line 2 at - just fast, flowy, and tight.
Chasing .snke._ one wheel apart that I don’t know what’s ahead. I just trusted his decisions and followed his lines.
Ride until 9 PM with the local freestylers .flakus
Met them at the bottom while waiting for the 7pm lift. Rode down the Jump/ Flow Line and had some b**r stops in the middle and chatted until 11 PM.
Would definitely return to Maribor to work on my non-existing jump skills with this boys.
