We, Ukrainians, who live in Germany, cannot look the other way and want to help. Since the beginning of the war we have organized to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Hundreds of people have joined us in a short time. There are many who have no connection to Ukraine at all - they don't know anyone there, have no relatives and have never been to this country, but these people are not indifferent to the helpers. They want to support the Ukrainians who are fighting for their lives, democracy, freedom of speech and peace in Europe. Based on our work and commitment, we have decided not only to focus our activities on humanitarian aid, but also to expand it to include the reconstruction of Ukraine in the future. In a few weeks of the war, lives, cities, villages, schools, hospitals, theaters and museums were destroyed. There is no excuse for these atrocities. We don't want to allow people's faith in the future to be destroyed. We are convinced that Ukraine will be rebuilt and that people will lead normal lives again, and we want to do our part.
