Choosing a flight school? Look beyond the price.

Niklas Algotsson's advice to future pilots is simple:
Look at what happens after graduation.

Where do former students end up? Are they getting airline jobs? Is the training preparing them simply to pass the skill test - or for the career that comes afterwards?

As Niklas puts it, getting a student through a skill test is one thing. Preparing them for the world they're entering is another.

🎥 His advice for anyone choosing where to train.

Growth and quality shouldn't have to be a trade-off.

But as a flight academy adds students and instructors, maintaining the same standard becomes increasingly complex.

For Niklas Algotsson, one part of the answer starts before training even begins: don't let growth compromise who you bring into the program.

The same applies to instructors. As airlines compete for talent, academies need stronger systems for bringing instructors to a consistent standard.

🎥 Hear Niklas's perspective on balancing growth and quality.

Training rules shouldn’t live in people’s heads.
They should live in the system. 💻⚙️

Our newest FlightLogger release brings more automation across compliance, scheduling, training progression and reporting - helping flight schools reduce manual checks and build more scalable operations.

From training prerequisites and instructor eligibility to scheduling and duty time, more of the rules that keep training moving can now be managed directly in FlightLogger.

The goal is simple: less manual oversight, stronger compliance, and smarter scheduling as your operation grows. ✈️

A special day for flight training in Greece 🇬🇷🛩️

Today, FlightLogger’s CEO Kasper Valgren and Account Executive Lukas Skjødt are in Kavala to join Egnatia Aviation Group in celebrating two major milestones: 20 years of Egnatia Aviation and the official inauguration of Lydia Aerodrome.

A pleasure to experience the new aerodrome and facilities firsthand, connect with people from across the industry, and celebrate an impressive 20 years of flight training.

Moments like these are also a great reminder of how much continues to happen across our industry - new facilities, new capacity, and continued investment in the future of pilot training.

A big congratulations to the entire Egnatia Aviation team on the anniversary and the opening of Lydia Aerodrome! 👏✈️

Here’s to the next 20 years.

Most flight school audits focus on the same five areas. Knowing them in advance turns a stressful week into a routine review. 🔎📄

The difference between a stressful audit and a routine one often comes down to one thing: how you manage your records every day.

👉 Here's what inspectors evaluate across FAA Part 141 and EASA Part-ORA operations. Swipe through!

Schools that approach audits with confidence don't prepare for them the week before - they build audit readiness into their daily operations.

🎙️ OUT NOW: Episode 1 - Scaling Flight Training Without Losing Quality.

How do you scale flight training without losing quality?

That’s the question at the center of the very first episode of The Climb. 🎙️

FlightLogger CEO and host Kasper Valgren sits down with Niklas Algotsson, Head of Training at OSM Aviation Academy, for an inside perspective on what it takes to grow a flight academy while keeping training quality consistent.
They get into:
→ Maintaining quality as student numbers increase
→ Standardizing instructors across a growing organization
→ Using training data to improve programs
→ What airlines increasingly expect from graduates
→ The growing role of CBTA, VR and simulation
→ Where AI could make a real difference in flight training

And Niklas leaves growing flight schools with one particularly important piece of advice: Stabilize first. Scale second.

What happens when a flight school grows faster than its operation?

More students. More instructors. More locations.

But the training quality still has to remain consistent across it all.

Tomorrow, The Climb takes off. 🎙️

For our first episode, FlightLogger CEO and host Kasper Valgren sits down with Niklas Algotsson, Head of Training at OSM Aviation Academy, to explore what it really takes to scale flight training without losing quality. From instructor standardization and data to airline expectations, technology and AI - we’re starting with a big one.

Growth adds complexity fast. 📈🤯

As flight schools scale, keeping scheduling, training progression, compliance, maintenance, and resources connected becomes increasingly important.

For CANAVIA Aviation Academy, the answer was bringing their operation together with FlightLogger.

Today, digital workflows give their team greater visibility, reduce manual work, and help keep everyday operations moving efficiently - creating a better experience for both staff and students.

🤝 And sometimes, a successful partnership shows up in the smallest details.

Seeing the Canavia team proudly using and wearing FlightLogger gear is a great reminder that the best customer relationships go beyond software. They're built on shared goals, trust, and a commitment to better flight training.
