It previews the full sequence in 3D Universe and runs Touch Sense on every cut to verify the surface and set the correct standoff height.

Then it runs the entire sequence autonomously 🦾

💡 What does collaborative welding actually look like on the shop floor? We asked someone who'd know.

Our partner ESCCO connected with Nick from Mettech Precision - a welder who now runs their Cobot Welding System day to day to hear it straight from him.

His take: with jigs, incoming orders can be adapted to run on the cobot welder, no matter how they vary. The result is a big jump in productivity: manual welding took 1-2 weeks, the cobot gets it done in 3-4 days.
