𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 💡🌱 Our CEO, Dennis Lundø Nielsen, recently met with Charles Oluchina, Tanzania Country Director, and Luther Anakur, Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), during his trip to Kenya.

Youth empowerment was once again central to the discussion, as part of Phoenix Design Aid’s support for the PDAid Foundation. The conversation also explored how Phoenix Design Aid and IUCN can build on each other’s competencies and strengthen their collaboration – for example in relation to supporting the need for sustainable agriculture.

Phoenix Design Aid is proud to support and work with IUCN. Most recently, we managed the full production process of IUCN’s latest annual reports – from editorial coordination and content structuring to graphic design, layout, translations and final publication.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 🙏🏼 Our CEO, Dennis Lundø Nielsen, recently met with Dr. Richard Amenyah, UNAIDS Regional Director in Kenya, alongside representatives from several United Nations (UN) agencies, engaging in inspiring conversation on youth empowerment – a central element of the work of the PDAid Foundation.

The meeting was arranged by Gary Conille, UN Resident Coordinator in Kenya, and led by Dr. Richard Amenyah, bringing together representatives from a range of United Nations agencies, including UN Environment Programme, the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office, International Labour Organization, IOM - UN Migration UN Women, United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, UNODC - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

During the board room meeting, Dennis shared the story of the PDAid Foundation and its mission to empower young change agents in disadvantaged communities through mentoring, learning opportunities and skills development. The conversation also explored potential opportunities for collaboration in support of youth development in the region.

We look forward to continuing the dialogue and exploring how shared efforts can help create lasting impact for young people and their communities.

Through this partnership, we support employees who serve as reservists or volunteers in uniformed emergency services, helping strengthen Denmark’s preparedness and resilience.

Our CEO, Dennis Lundø Nielsen, attended a networking event at Kronborg Castle, marking the official start of our support for InterForce.

With this commitment, Phoenix Design Aid is pleased to support InterForce’s important work and to recognise those who contribute to Denmark’s security and emergency preparedness alongside their professional roles.

The planet is sending clear signals: rising heat, extreme weather, and growing pressure on people and ecosystems. The good news is that solutions already exist, and action starts with all of us. This , we join the call to act : by supporting ideas, policies, communities and conversations that move us forward.

At Phoenix Design Aid, we are proud to support organizations working on climate, environment and resilience around the world, helping turn important work into stories that inform, engage and inspire action. Most recently, and for the second year in a row, we finalized the 2025 Annual Report for IUCN, supporting the communication of global efforts to protect nature and advance sustainable development. The event takes place in New York as part of the Financing for Development Week and SDG Investment Fair 2026, hosted by ECOSOC, and will explore how integrating communication efforts and human-centered design to advance sustainable development can help push the objective forward by translating complex agendas into accessible communication and by investing in youth as agents of long-term transformation.
