Today, our production leaders and apprentices are attending the annual festival for young people exploring careers in craftsmanship. They are there to share their experiences, answer questions, and help inspire the next generation to consider a career in welding and other skilled trades.

It is a great opportunity to meet young talents, showcase what a career at Westrup can look like, and help guide them towards a rewarding future in the industry.

Our French team is currently carrying out diagnostics on an SD pre-cleaner from 1999, which is still hard at work processing malt.

After almost three decades of operating 10 hours a day year rund, we naturally found some wear and tear:
- A few wooden components are showing their age, including the doors from the sieve boat.
- Some of the ball frames are broken internally, meaning the rubber balls can no longer provide proper separation.

It’s a great reminder that regular inspection and maintenance can make all the difference in keeping equipment performing at its best.
