There are moments in life when all you can pray is:
“God, remember me!”

The Bible reveals a God who remembers His people even in their difficult seasons.
🛶 God remembered Noah

👑 God remembered David
David was a man after God's heart, and God remembered him and established his throne.
🏛️ God remembered Solomon, David's son
God continued His covenant purposes through Solomon.

Your present situation may make you feel forgotten, but God has not forgotten you!
He remembers the prayers you prayed.
He remembers the tears you shed.
He remembers your faithfulness.
He remembers your affliction.
He remembers your sacrifice.
He remembers His covenant concerning you.

THE GOD OF REMEMBRANCE SHALL REMEMBER YOU!

As you pray today, believe God for divine remembrance in every area of your life.
May God remember you in your affliction.

Discovering God's Purpose for Your Life
August Series

Introduction
Welcome to the month of August—our month of Knowing God's Purpose for Our Lives.
First of all, let us lift our hearts in thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father. We have entered a new month not because of our own strength, wisdom, or ability, but because of His mercy, faithfulness, and amazing grace. He has preserved us, protected us, provided for us, and brought us safely this far. To Him alone be all the glory!

Imagine discovering a sophisticated machine without its instruction manual. One person uses it as a paperweight, another as a decoration, while another dismantles it because they do not know its purpose. Yet the manufacturer designed it for something extraordinary.

Many people live exactly this way. They spend their lives guessing instead of discovering why God created them. They pursue careers, wealth, fame, and personal ambitions, yet never discover the divine assignment for which they were born.

That is why Dr. Myles Munroe wisely said:
"Where purpose is not known, abuse or misuse is inevitable."

Anything whose purpose is unknown will eventually be abused or misused. This is true of machines, tools, relationships, and sadly, many human lives.
The Creator alone can reveal the purpose of His creation.

Throughout this month we shall seek God's purpose through:
His Word
Prayer
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit
Obedience to His leading
Our prayer throughout this month is simple:
"Lord, let Your counsel prevail over all our plans."

The Big Idea
The greatest tragedy in life is not death; it is living without discovering why God sent you. The greatest success is not fame, wealth, or influence—it is fulfilling God's purpose for your life.

Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
Lessons
God works through every circumstance—even painful ones.
Every disappointment can become divine appointment.
God's purpose is greater than our temporary challenges.
Those who love God can confidently trust Him because He never wastes any experience.
Proverbs 19:21
"There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the LORD's counsel—that will stand."

Lessons
Human beings make many plans.
We propose, but God disposes according to His perfect will.
Lasting success comes from aligning our plans with God's counsel.
Every ambition should first be surrendered to God.

Isaiah 46:9–10
"Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure.'"

Lessons
God knows the end before the beginning.
Nothing surprises Him.
His purposes cannot be frustrated.
Trusting God's plan gives confidence even when the future appears uncertain.
