đ„ Bronze for Swedbank's Financial Literacy Center!
Happy to share that Swedbank's Financial Literacy Center just won Bronze at the Estonian Design Awards 2026, in the Digital Design & User Experience category!
Platvorm developed games and digital solutions for Swedbank's Financial Literacy Center â helping students tackle real-life economic decisions through play. Where does a family budget actually go? How expensive is electricity, really? Can you invest 30 years in just 6 minutes? We built interactive tools that let students explore index funds, down payments, credit costs, and more â refined through repeated playtesting with real students and teachers along the way.
It was such a pleasure working with the talented team at Platvorm on this project. Huge thanks to everyone involved â the experts, educators, and developers who helped bring real financial literacy to life for the next generation.
đ Congratulations to the whole team!

Time flies! Itâs already time for the next International Museum Construction Congress(IMCC) â this time in Munich, Germany.
The program has been set up by International Museum Construction Congress program committee and supported by Brian J.Mandrier, DES.
For us, IMCC has become a must-attend event for the museum industry â a great place to exchange ideas, discover whatâs happening in the field, and most importantly, meet the people behind exciting projects.
And of course, we wouldnât miss it. In fact, this time weâre coming with a bigger team than ever before!
Ott Sarapuu, Ott Roots, Liis Lehesalu and Ludwig KĂŒhner are ready for inspiring conversations, new connections and catching up with our long-time partners and friends.
Munich, here we come!

đ New exhibition alert: Kon-Tiki Museum, Oslo!
We're proud to share one of our latest international project â a new exhibition at the legendary The Kon-Tiki Museum in Norway, home to Thor Heyerdahl's original balsa raft that crossed the Pacific in 1947.
Huge thanks to Expology for the brilliant concept and exhibition design â it was a pleasure bringing their concept to life. Production was a joint effort between Yeswecan and us.
What made this project special: the museum never closed its doors during construction. Visitors walked right past our tools and materials, watching the exhibition take shape in real time â a rare behind-the-scenes experience for museum guests.
Fun fact: Thor Heyerdahl was every bit as wild as his legend suggests â the man sailed a raft across the Pacific mostly to prove a point. Building an exhibition worthy of that kind of audacity felt fitting.

đ¶ Saarde ma ei saandki
Tulin Kesselaiul mahađ¶
Inspired by NUBLU's ode to the tiny islet, our team traded the mainland for Kesselaid this year for our summer days retreat â and closed out the season by truly unplugging. Phones away, feet in the sand, nothing but nature and good company for the last weekend of summer.
We spent our days roaming the islet, diving into some spirited games, and winding down in the sauna (as any good Estonian retreat demands). đ„
A perfect send-off to summer â already looking forward to what's next!

âMeet Monika Normann, our new Procurement Specialist! We're delighted to welcome her to the our team, and we sat down with her to find out a bit more about who she is, where she's coming from, and what she's looking forward to.
đMonika describes herself as a dog person, a foodie in her own small way, a big music lover, and someone who loves art and culture. She brings a wealth of relevant experience to her new role: she previously worked as a public sector procurement officer, and before that spent years in the private sector within road construction, first as a design engineer and later as a project manager.
đPlease join us in giving Monika a warm welcome to Motor!

âïž Happy new school year, Estonia!
President Alar Karis opened the year at the newly formed Tallinn College of Technology â created by merging several of Tallinn's vocational schools, with the aim of helping Estonia's economy run at full strength. We're proud to have made the sign for their building, and it feels great to see it greeting students on their very first day.
Wishing every student the courage to learn, the drive to push through the hard parts, and pride in the trade they're building. Head uut Ôppeaastat!

đWe're proud to share that Motor has been selected to produce the exhibition for the International Memorial Museum for the Victims of Communism in Patarei Prison (Eesti MĂ€lu Instituut / Estonian Institute of Historical Memory).
Patarei is one of Estonia's most significant historical sites â a place that carries the weight of decades of occupation and the suffering of those who lived through it.
Turning it into a museum ensures that this history is preserved and passed on to future generations, so that it is never forgotten.
The museum is set to open on 14 June 2027. We're honored to help bring this important project to life for Estonia.
Exhibition spatial design: KOKO arhitektid, Liis Lindvere, Martti Helde, Gertu Kallas.

đ„đ Celebrating 26 years â the wild way!
A few weeks ago, our team traded the office for the forest to celebrate our 26th birthday â with a survival hike and workshop led by the amazing team at Luureretked.
We swapped spreadsheets for firewood, learning how to make fire from scratch and pick up practical survival skills for the forest. It turns out teamwork looks a little different when you're trying to get a spark going together!
Of course, no birthday is complete without cake â so we wrapped up the day with a well-earned slice (or two) back at camp. đ°
26 years of building museum experiences, and still up for a good adventure. Here's to the next chapter!
PS: We'll be on a collective vacation from 20.07 to 31.07 â see you in August! đ

Thank you Velvet for the kind words and thoughtful insights on experiential learning! Your perspective as a design leaders in strategic and service design means a lot to us. đ It would be lovely to have the opportunity to join forces on a project in the future.

đŠïž We are delighted that we were able to help bring to life the new permanent exhibition at the Harku Weather Centre â an engaging experience that opens up the fascinating world of weather, climate and meteorology to visitors.
đŹïž The exhibition invites visitors to discover the many faces of Estonian weather: to feel the strength of the wind, compose their own weather forecast, explore dangerous weather phenomena and learn how weather is measured and forecast. Visitors can also try their hand at being a meteorologist and experience how science, technology and everyday weather influence our lives.
The permanent exhibition has been created as an expedition of discovery,
combining knowledge, playfulness and interactive solutions. It helps visitors understand both the processes that shape weather and the impact of climate change around us.
