Elsewedy Industrial Development celebrated the groundbreaking of New Hope Liuhe’s new manufacturing facility at Elsewedy Industrial City – 10th of Ramadan, marking another important step in the growing partnership between Egypt and China.
The ceremony was attended by:
H.E. Ambassador Nabila Makram, Eng. Hazem El Ashmouni, Governor, Dr. Mostafa El Sayad, Deputy Minister, Mr. Shao Wen, Regional Director of New Hope Liuhe Group, and Mr. Yang Bing, General Manager of New Hope Liuhe, alongside senior representatives from Elsewedy Industrial Development and project stakeholders.
The new facility will be developed on 34,000 sqm and will produce poultry and aquaculture feed with a total production capacity of up to 400,000 tons annually.
Speaking at the ceremony, Eng. Mohamed AlKammah emphasized Elsewedy Industrial Development’s commitment to Chinese investors as strategic partners in Egypt’s industrial growth.
“We aim to make our industrial cities a true platform for Chinese manufacturers to enter the Egyptian market, grow their operations, and access regional and global markets.”
Beyond the factory itself, the project will contribute to job creation, stronger supply chains, local value creation, and wider economic development.
