On 2004 the brand PLASTGrommet was created by Plásticos Alco to cover the manufacturing of clear plastic eyelets & eyelet equipment for digital printing. Our mother company, Plásticos Alco, was born in 1990 as supplier of plastic injection molded parts for different industrial sectors. During 2008 the R&D department was created to manufacture a new line of eyeleting machines and we can offer now customized solutions to our customers as the Roll2Roll system. Our clear plastic eyelets have important advantages for our customers in terms of recycling but also they are the result of our company’s commitment for a sustainable production in all manufacturing stages:
▪️ Virgin resin is delivered in bulk inpallet-boxes, minimizing the need for raw material packaging.
▪️ We are equipped with fully electrical machines that reduce the energy consumption by 35%, reduce sound emissions, and have better precision and production quality.
▪️ State-of-the-art machinery where plastic waste is eliminated from the molding process through the use of grinders to be reused at the factory.
▪️ Clear eyelet packaging is made of recycled cardboard to reduce environmental impact.
