Helping congregations realise their full potential by collaborating with the broader community. He provides speaking services, education, and coaching.
Rev (Deacon) Mat Harry is an entrepreneurial church leader with 16 years of Uniting Church ministry experience. Mat is different! Mat went from publicly declaring that all Christians were idiots to becoming one. Now with a great balance of theory (4 degrees including a Masters in Church Leadership) and practice; 16 years of ministry in a tough setting many said would fail; lots of failures; deep wounds; valuable lessons; great mentorship and copious amounts of prayerful reflection, Mat has insights worth listening to. The highlights include helping to curate community around; a Community Garden; a weekly two course meal; a support group for Carers; Christmas Day lunch; and Messy Church. This has required many partnerships with local organisations which Mat knows the keys to achieving. Christian ministry requires a fresh approach in 2021 and Mat certainly provides that. Contact Mat by sending a Facebook message or email [email protected] to enquire about any of his services.

How true is this
Burning through enormous amounts of energy and water to generate AI cartoons, fake photos and disposable content sometimes feels like one of the strangest trade-offs of the digital age.
AI can be useful for science, medicine, education and countless other applications.
But when powerful technology is used primarily to create things we don’t even need, it is worth asking:
Are we becoming more efficient or simply finding new ways to consume more?
Progress should not just be measured by what technology can create, but by whether what we create is actually worth the resources it takes.

What do you make of this?
The amazing Basilica in Barcelona is profound in its vision of telling the Christian story with radical architectural design by Gaudi. The groundbreaking artist drew his inspiration from a deep theology fused with a wonderful appreciation of trees.
